Report: India may limit Russian oil purchases
NEW DELHI, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- India may limit purchases of Russian oil if its price exceeds $60 per barrel, or if the E.U. imposes blanket secondary sanctions on the countries buying Russian oil, Telegraph India reported on Tuesday, citing oil ministry and industry representatives as saying.
Russia remains India’s top oil exporter for a third month in a row in December supplying 1.17 million barrels per day of crude – an all-time high.
